Trim Pork of Excess Fat
Cover your Pork in Kansas Flavor Rub it Raw. Pat it on all sides.
Melt Butter on Medium Heat in Skillet
Pan sear pork in butter each side approximately 5 min until each side is lightly browned. This process will help keep juices in for a tender meat.
Transfer Pork and Butter Drippings to the Criock Pot. Set Crock Pot on Low and add 1 C. Chicken Broth. Sometimes I add a little extra Rub it Raw.
Cook on low until the pork has reached 145*. Meat will fall off the bone and easily shred when done. If tough cook longer until the pork easily shreds.Remove pork from crock pot and shred. Add a little juice dripping to keep it moist while serving. Serve as is or on a bun topped with your favorite BBQ sauce. Also great on wraps or salads. When freezing leftovers i add extra juice dripping to keep it moist till thawed.
